Quilt Guild and Book Review

Tonight I went to my quilt guild meeting.  I haven't been able to join them for a long time.  I took some time off when I was studying and never got back into the routine of going.  I had a really nice time and was so happy to see so many of the wonderful ladies.  I took along  the star quilt I recently finished for show and tell.  I just wish I was better at public speaking.  I dread standing in front of everyone and telling about my projects.  I guess this is a good opportunity to improve this area!
I want to share with you a book that I find extremely helpful when I am quilting.  This book was a gift from my DH for Christmas several years ago and it is my number one go to book when I have a question.  I do not put binding on very often and find myself constantly looking in this book for a refresher.   It has directions for so many things I always find the answer here.  If you are unable to see the cover very clearly here is the information:  A Rodale Quilt Book...The Quilters Ultimate Visual Guide Ellen Pahl, Editor  Published by Rodale.  The ISBN# is 0-87596-987-9.  This book has wonderful full color illustrations for the tips and techniques.  For those that own this book already you know and appreciate what is in this book.  For those looking for gift idea's or a great informational book I highly recommend this resource. :)

Good Morning Amy, I'm the same as you I really don't enjoy standing in front of people and speaking. I've never been able to master that, I would rather contribute from the side lines. Just to let you know I have tagged you on my blog. It is just a bit of fun and it allows people to get to know you and your blog. If you would like to join in the link is
