A small group of friends and myself have started going to dinner in celebration of our birthday's. We don't eat out very often so this is a special treat for all of us. It's just us girls and we have a really nice time and usually conclude with a stroll around the downtown area, window shopping, and enjoying the architecture of the buildings and details. While strolling I had to take this picture even though it was dark outside because I thought though dark I would be able to see the ironwork even clearer without the distractions of objects in the background.
I'm so glad I snapped this photo. Every time I look at it I remember a wonderful evening in the company of friends. :)

Awww Sue you are so sweet! My birthday is in February. This time it was two of our friends turn :) We try to meet for morning coffee or tea the months we aren't celebrating birthday's :)
